Job Title: Customer Campaign Senior Exec (Email) Contract: 6 month Fixed Term Contract Area of Business: MC Marketing Band: Senior Executive Reporting to Customer Engagement/Retention Manager Location: London Job Purpose Directly reporting the MC Customer Engagement/Retention Manager, the Campaign Senior Exec, will initially be responsible for the creation, build, testing and deployment of email marketing campaigns, in line with multichannel customer communication strategies Accountabilities and Responsibilities Management of Customer Campaign Schedule Coding, build, tracking, testing, and deployment of NL customer email campaigns via an external Email Service Provider API Supporting the implementation of testing programmes, managing dynamic content structure and customer segment targeting Reporting and analysis of weekly campaign KPIs and email list performance Reporting and analysis of testing results to inform on next steps Management of campaign costs and ESP management fees Support Customer Engagement/Retention Manager in the: Implementation of strategic email and customer segmentation and programmes Development of Email and Mobile list generation Implementation of Multichannel Customer Contact Strategy, which may also include mobile marketing and other multichannel initiatives supporting in-store, social, offline, online lead generation and/or customer communications. Technical and Behavioural Skills, Knowledge & Experience Skills: Strong technical skills with extensive experience in the creation and deployment of email campaigns, client or agency side Strong HTML and coding knowledge, with practical experience in the building, linking and testing of dynamic email content. Content Management system experience a plus Practical experience of using an industry standard email service provider APIs eg: Responsys, Cheetahmail, eCircle, EmailVision, Silverpop etc Strong numerical and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of email driven KPIs as well as an understanding of database or email list management Knowledge and Experience Knowledge and practical experience of managing email communications, including customer segmentation and targeted/triggered messaging Thorough understand of best practise both in terms of email creative application and email deployment Good understanding of Email Marketing Principles and Customer Contact Strategy, including, multichannel communication, single customer view, customer segmentation etc Experience of mobile contact management desirable although not essential Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role Minimum level of education or qualifications Degree Level Measures/Key Performance Indicator's Timely execution of accurate, error free, email campaigns to specified customer contact strategy Achievement of email driven KPIs including but not limited t open/click-thr/conversion/revenue - with a view to improving performance and the Recency/Frequency/Monetary value of email communications Increasing number of customer email contacts Helping maintain 3rd party SLA and costs Key Relationships Internally Multichannel and Customer Managing Director Head of Multichannel Marketing Customer Engagement/Retention Manager Buying, Merchandising and Design team IT, Business Intelligence and finance team Externally External agencies and suppliers eg ESPs Keywords: FMCG, Food
