Title: Tech Lead Digital Technology The Digital Technology team is seeking a Technical Lead/Software Engineer to manage and build software solutions across Client’s Digital Platform. The lead role requires hands-on software development skills, deep technical expertise across the entire digital video process, from video ingestion to video playback. The technical leader will work closely within the Product Development team acting in a technical capacity to bring enhancements to a reality while managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The primary skills needed are: Hands on development skills with Solid background in Java, C#, or PHP (Java preferred), knowledge/hands on experience with both front-end and back-end, lead skills (responsible for the developers). Required Technical & Leadership Skill Sets BS degree or higher in Computer Science with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience is required Experience with PHP, Various Web-based Technologies, OO Modeling, Middleware, Relational Databases and distributed computing technologies Expert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience. Deep hands-on technical expertise in building complex distributed systems Possess expert knowledge in Performance, Scalability, Security, Enterprise System Architecture, and Engineering best practices. Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering large-scale high-available systems at an enterprise/consumer based level Serve as technical lead on demanding, cross-functional projects. Possess expert knowledge in Performance, Scalability, Security, Enterprise Play a leading role in the design, implementation, and deployment of successful enterprise-level systems. Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members. Lead design, R&D and reviews for complex systems. Demonstrate high levels of creativity and right judgments Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward scalable solutions. Build flexible systems choosing simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones. Possess knowledge of a broad range of data structures and algorithms and know how, when and when-not to use them. Expertise in all facets of web development including front- and backend technologies. Experience working on large scale, high traffic web sites.
