Business Analyst (IT Systems) 12 month fixed term contract Worle, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset £28,255 - £30,056 + Excellent Benefits Our client, a leading provider of affordable homes in the south and west of England , currently has a fantastic new opportunity for a competent Business Analyst to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract. The position is based in Worle and the salary is £28,255 - £30,056 plus excellent benefits. This role will challenge established ways of working and ensure that our client’s processes focus on providing great customer service. Positive and proactive in your approach, the Business Analyst’s aim will be to ensure that the Group gets the most out of their IT systems. Using your skills and expertise, you will be able to analyse and critically evaluate a business process, identify strengths and weaknesses and recommend process improvements that meet business needs. Good problem solving skills are essential in order to effectively design and implement test scenarios and test scripts. This varied role will contribute to major corporate projects including an Electronic Single Customer Record (ESCR) project and the redesign of the Asset Management and Maintenance services. The Business Analyst will possess solid experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes coupled with the ability to match requirements to system functionality. With experience of process mapping using Visio or similar, you will ideally be able to demonstrate an awareness of lean systems principles e.g. Vanguard method and possess an ISEB professional Business Analysis qualification although this is not essential. With a ‘can do’ attitude, the Business Analyst will effectively handle a large diverse workload without compromising on quality. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with stakeholders, development teams and third party suppliers. This role will require occasional travel to other offices – Bristol, Taunton and Chippenham.
