IMMEDIATE START - We are looking to recruit an Office Assistant (a Business Apprenticeship scheme is an option) to fulfil an initial 6 month fixed term contract to support administration services for all internal departments. Duties include but are not limited to; � Process all incoming correspondence and deliver and collect post from each department � Deliver of internal mail 4 times daily � Log all incoming cheques and sick notes on the in-house system � Process all outgoing mail including Special Deliveries and log tracking numbers � Operate and carry out basic maintenance of post room equipment � Monitor all printers in the business and replenish paper stocks and consumables � Monitor stationery and paper usage and place orders when necessary � Deliver to departments any Stationery Requests received � Deliver to departments any File Request received � Assisting the Administration department � Send out all invoices printed on a daily basis � Send out all invoice statements and payslips on a daily basis � Archive remittances received daily � Sort bulk mail deliveries and pass to departments, or log information accordingly � Ensure all meeting rooms are kept tidied and presentable at all times � Set out board room for meetings including equipment and refreshments � Replenish catering stocks daily � Provide cover on reception or support to other departments when required � Monitor confidential waste consoles and empty when necessary � General housekeeping duties, such as moving boxes and rubbish from around the business We are looking for someone who is; � Educated to GCSE grade 3 level (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English � A committed team player � Organised and has a methodical approach to work � Experienced in using Microsoft Word and Excel � Positive and proactive � Able to work to deadlines The role is to start straight away so if you have experience within an administration role or are looking to commence an apprenticeship apply using the link below.
