A virtual internship is an internship whereby you can receive tasks, feedback and supervision in a New York law firm, whilst studying or working in Britain, without having to physically go to New York. You will be given work for 3 months which may include research, letter writing, opinion writing, drafting briefs etc. The work is provided and exchanged via email, telephone or Skype. You will be supervised by your New York attorney tutor throughout who will be in regular contact with you for 3 months. Your supervisor will provide you with the work and will accept the work upon completion. Your tutor will award you a mark for each successfully completed piece of work and this mark will be placed on your file. A great way to learn a new area of law and upgrade your CV. Also, an excellent way to learn new skills and to ensure that you are constantly keeping your employability skills.
