Due to winning a large new project, a leading tier one supplier to the automotive industry is seeking to recruit a Design Engineer for a 12 month ongoing contract based in Leicestershire. The Role The role will mainly involve mechanical design work relating to automotive interior and exterior trim. You'll be using Catia V5 to produce 3D modelling relating to sealing systems for windows and doors. Experience The ideal Design Engineer will be fluent in Catia V5 and have a background within the automotive industry. Any experience relating to interior or exterior trim is highly desirable for this contract. Opportunity This is a superb opportunity to work for a market leading, tier one supplier to the automotive industry. They have secured a long term contract with a leading automotive company and there are seeking to bring in a Design Engineer to help take the project from concept to completion. Along with liaising with other departments, the role will also involve some client liaison and some travel to the client's site.
