Please email resumes to resumes@i-teksolutions.com   Responsibilities of the position include: • Provide leadership and technical expertise to the SAP Basis administrators • Oracle database administration tasks including backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning   Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related Business.   Knowledge & Skills :   • 5+ years of experience as SAP Basis administrator, to include Installation of ABAP and Java systems, Client copies, applying support pack stacks, transport management, monitoring and tuning   • 3+ years of experience in installing, configuring and supporting SAP components ECC SRM BI XI/PI Solution Manager   • 1+ years of experience working SAP Business object and/or Data Services   • Working experience with SAP bolt-on applications Opentext Vertex Trex RFGen   • Minimum of 2 full SAP life-cycle implementations of any one of the core SAP components like ECC, SRM, BI, XI/PI, and Solution Manager   • Strong understanding of Operation Systems and Database technologies (Linux/ Oracle preferred)   • Go-live SAP experience - SAP support throughout the implementation, stabilization and steady state phases   Non-SAP Technical Skills:   • RHEL 5.x+ and/or Unix • Oracle 11.x • Configuration management, stress testing and performance tuning • Interfaces (iDocs, EDI, SFTP). • ABAP and Java stacks. • Transports, Client Copies and System refreshes. • Windows domain security, SSO • VMware • Storage • ITIL   Non-Technical Skills:   • Demonstrated experience and success managing technical projects • Strong Customer Service and Organizational Skills • Facilitating cross-functional requirement gathering meetings • Facilitating team status meetings • Developing project related documentation • Developing relationships with internal customers and stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts in a clear, concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences • Managing and coordinating the time and activities of other people and groups   Responsibilities of the position include:   • Provide leadership and technical expertise to the SAP Basis administrators • Oracle database administration tasks including backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning • Problem escalation and resolution, working with SAP and other software/hardware vendors to resolve problems • Assess impact of new SAP releases to current system landscape environments, design solution and assist production support teams in deploying the solution • Analyze system performance, system health checks and implement tuning improvements • Maintain multi-landscape environments through system copies, system refreshes, and transport management • Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations and strategies for continuous improvement • Manage SAP Systems High Availability, Backup, Restore, Disaster Recovery, Planning, and Testing • Research, recommend, and apply new technologies • Supports the development of practices and procedures to manage technologies based on “best practice” standards. Oversees effort to develop technical standards to support and operate technologies within system landscape • Provide technology thought leadership and SAP expertise in designing the best technical solution in support of the business requirements • Validate functional team requirements and provide necessary guidance to SAP Basis administrators on best possible way to execute related tasks. • Identify areas of concern within SAP landscape from technical / skill set level and work with management to resolve it. • Maintain support procedures for phased SAP Implementation and SAPCenter of Excellence. • 24x7 on-call rotational commitment.   Please email resumes to resumes@i-teksolutions.com
