Marketing Planning Analyst
Please note this is a 4 month contract position. Skills: Marketing experience, Project Management, Excel, Writing Web-content experience (+) This position is needed to update and ramp up planning and website deliverables that are outdated or behind schedule due to attrition. The Marketing Planning and Enablement Specialist will be responsible for producing, distributing and maintaining the Planning calendars and templates that support clients Annual and quarterly Marketing Planning and Review processes. The Marketing Planning and Enablement Specialist will also solicit, edit and maintain content on clients Inside Marketing and Marketing Professional Development websites. Responsibilities: • Produce and deliver MS PowerPoint and excel-based templates and tools with guidance and examples from Marketing Planning and Enablement Leader; and Duties may include: o Confirming and documenting milestone completion with Marketing Planners o Document, prioritize and manage enhancement requests o Communication via email or phone; o Uploading files to website through Adobe Editor o monitor consistent use of templates and tools, and timely submission of completed plans and review presentations. • Review Marketing Professional Development Website content and links for accuracy and relevance; write or edit new summary content; code and upload new content using forms-based editor. Duties may include: o Monitoring emails or soliciting external vendors and internal partners for new training, events, or development content . o Identifying content to highlight on Inside Marketing website or through email announcements, and drafting compelling summaries and invitations. o Requesting periodic usage reports from external vendors and internal website analysts. • Contribute to project-management, completion and testing of Inside Marketing website during pre-launch; Contribute /edit introductory text to support monthly editorial calendar post launch. Requirements: • 5 years in marketing with experience in marketing operations and project management; Experience with Employee communications and writing web-content is a plus. • Experience creating and updating planning and reporting templates that are prescriptive, detailed, and responsive to Stakeholder requirements. • Strong written communications experience; writing and editing Employee Communications and writing copy for Web pages is a plus. • Skilled in MS Office applications; Expert in MS PowerPoint and Excel. Adobe HTML Editors (Contribute) a plus. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and priorities. • Must be detail oriented. • BA required Manager would like to emphasize: + Really Strong Powerpoint Skills + Attention to Detail + Strong Written Communication Skills For consideration please include Job # 1552.
