We are currently recruiting for a  QA Lead, in Charlotte, NC. Other details is as follows.  Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  The candidate needs to be a strong lead that can handle more than one project (preferably with at least 8 years experience in a lead role).  Front and back-end testing experience is needed in addition to XML, Filenet and OBIEE. Targeted Skills & Competencies and Education and Experience:  • College degree: B.S. in a computer-related field is preferred, B.A. (with applicable experience) may be acceptable • 3+ years of solid software testing background through extended quality assurance experience • Ability to work in both a formal Waterfall SDLC environment, as well as an Agile environment. • Application/technology knowledge in several areas including Web Technology, Oracle, SQL, batch processing, Quality Center Skills and Knowledge: • Solid understanding of the software development process • Ability to multi-task, manages time and priorities, and meets scheduled deadlines • Strong written and verbal communications skills • Team player with a talent for problem solving and troubleshooting • High level of attention to detail • Knowledge of SQL and experience with various vendor database products Expected Responsibilities:  Assist in ensuring quality standards are met and adhered to by using their knowledge and quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. • Participate in the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of policies, process and procedures necessary in delivering a consistent and reliable product to business and customer. • Participate in creating test plan, data, procedures and component based manual scripts based on business function for one or more medium sized projects or multiple small projects • Participate in functional requirement and code reviews as applicable • Accountable for ensuring test coverage and mapping of requirements to tests • Ensure tests are self contained, well documented, maintainable and reusable • Participate in test data analysis and creates/mines test data for multiple or complex projects • Execute systems, functional and end to end test scenarios and cases • Participate in risk based analysis for test execution • Ensure test environment reflects requirements for test execution • Write and reproduce accurate software problem reports including steps to reproduce the defect and work with developer and analyst to resolve the defect • Analyzes and reports overall test status and results of test case execution • Review test results, applies analytical skills to identify when issues need to be escalated and identifies associated risk and/or impact • Define tests to be added to a regression/automation suite • May participate in production validation --------------------- Do reply with your updated resume specific to this requirement, along with current location, start date, expected all inclusive rate per hour, residency status and contact #. regards, -- Vishe Muni ----------------------------------------------------- Goodtracks Phone  :  512.238.3079 Email : vishe@goodtracks.com ------------------------------------------------------
