We have a contracting opportunity for a   SAP BW Developer with working experience on Accelerator and SAP Business Objects, with our client in, NY, Start Date – ASAP for a duration : 8-12 months Purpose and Key Responsibilities of the position: The purpose of this position is to have additional Senior BW resource in order to handle the current demands of our agencies and to properly support the Vantage program.   Among the responsibilities are:   ·         Responsible for defining information requirements and convert them into functional specifications, delivering proper conceptual designs, development, implement and support SAP's Business Warehouse solutions, which include the complex extraction, transformation and loading operational setups, create and maintain DSO's and Infocube, establish and monitor process chains. All solution in SAP BI must fit into the global reporting architecture ·         Responsible for performance tuning of BW systems utilizing best practices ·         Responsible for working with any other BI members based on North American to maintain and apply coherent, optimized, integrated, and standardized processes and solutions ·         Responsible for prepare comprehensive documentation required according to methodology for all Global BI projects ·         Responsible to support the entire implementation effort during all project stages, ensuring that in areas of assigned responsibility milestones and related sign-offs are achieved on a timely basis and in accord with current project plan   Challenges faced:  Meeting the current demand of our agencies, Vantage Program and supporting locations globally across difference time zones.  Education and Experience Required: This position requires: ·         5+ years of systems implementation in a complex environment and at least 3 implementations of SAP BW ·         Experience developing Global BI solution from multiple SAP R/3 & NON-SAP system with varying designs into a common BI platform ·         Experience in performance tuning BW production systems with at least 2 projects with this focus ·         Experience with BW Accelerator and/or Near Line Storage required ·         Solid SAP development experience utilizing ABAP and ABAP Objects. ·         A broad understanding of at least two of the main Financial (FI & CO) and Logistics modules (SD & MM) in core R/3 preferred. ·         Ability to work independently and lead small development projects related to BW ·         Prior experience of adapting SAP R/3 or SAP BI to a Service sector environment would be definitely advantageous. ·         Experience with Finance, Business Intelligence, Data Integration and MDM applications a plus ·         Solid communication skills with a key ability to translate technical subjects into non-technical terms in order to hold discussion with the business ·         Experience working with SAP Business Objects reporting tools a plus ·         BS in Systems Analysis or equivalent. --------------------- Do reply with your updated resume specific to this requirement, along with current location, start date, expected all inclusive rate per hour, residency status and contact #. regards, Vishe Muni ----------------------------------------------------- Goodtracks Phone  :  512.238.3079 Email : vishe@goodtracks.com ---------------------------------------------------------------
