Business Systems Analysts study the overall business and information needs of an organization, in order to develop solutions to business and related technology problems. A Business Systems Analyst's role is usually undertaken prior to the system design, building, and programming stages of the systems development process. The Analyst will work closely with clients to identify business needs and the costs and benefits of implementing a computing solution and construct IT definitions based on identified needs of the organization. The Analyst will work with other IT experts to address networking and hardware needs; devise and document a general system design based on the client's anticipated requirements; and negotiate options with the client. Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities: Evaluating match exception data to determine fit for business scenario and accompanying procedure Educating end user staff in how to work and clear match exceptions based on procedures Tracking and monitoring resolution to vendor credit holds and outstanding payments due to match exceptions across the company Developing optimized solutions to avoid match exceptions through vendor relationship management Top 3-5 Required Skills: Understand three way match rules in supply chain procurement and payables Understand procure-to-pay systems (preferably PeopleSoft) Strong analytical skills using large volumes of data in MS Excel Strong communication skills to assist in educating and working with a variety of stakeholders Desired Skills: Procurement and Inventory Modules in PeopleSoft Three-way match rules in PeopleSoft Some education / support role in procurement, payable, or three-way matching Soft Skills: Ability to communicate clearly Ability to understand complex details to assist with problem solving Size of Team: Approx 10 Stage of Project: Beginning / roll-out of the team Some work (less than 20%) may need to be done at medical facilities with staff as needed; but not to exceed 20% of time.
