UI / UX Developer . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Reporting to the Presentation Development and Architecture Manager, the UI / UX Developer in Charlotte, North Carolina will combine creative and innovative techniques with cutting-edge technologies to create and maintain dynamic page layouts, widgets, and other rich internet content for all of the company's web properties. This individual will work closely with content management, technology, marketing and business leaders to create and maintain a unified, customer driven direction. Principle Accountabilities: Execute high quality web presentation development for all web properties Communicate presentation development and architecture standards and adhere to all presentation architecture and enterprise development standards Work closely with content management, web usability to develop designs that meet the goals of the site design and user experience teams Collaborate with IT and business partners to preserve the integrity of the web presentation architecture and client-side programming standards Various other duties as assigned Percentage of time spent on each of the Principal Accountabilities in Level Scope: Presentation development and execution 50% Client-side programming 15% Deployment and management of deployment activities 15% Collaborative work with remote teams 5% Documentation of new technologies 10% Administrative 5% The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: Strong background in presentation development and architecture Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solutions oriented with the ability to multi-task and make quick, innovative, and creative changes based on feedback from the project teams 5-7 years experience as a Presentation Developer at a major agency, retail or financial services institution or large ecommerce site Advanced level experience in Dreamweaver and Photoshop In-depth knowledge of standards-based web development and accessibility requirements A robust understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML markup and standardization practices Ideal: substantial experience developing and maintaining multiple websites on enterprise level content management systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Factors, Web Design, or Information Systems; Master's degree is desired Minimum of 5 years experience in web development, interactive design, usability or related field Relevant conference/seminar attendance
