IT Program Manager - Data Distribution Lead . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The Data Distribution Lead is responsible for managing the acquisition, transformation, storage and distribution of clinical data to end users from outside providers. This position in Aurora, Colorado will have duties to include: Act as a liaison between the vendor and internal business customers Track and manage data moving into the gateway and from the gateway to the company including storage in a variety of repositories including data warehouses and application data store Work closely with end users to understand reporting and analytic needs Work with the data modeler to understand how the end user needs can be met with the data received Own all processes for data translation and storage for clinical data received from outside providers Be responsible for designing and developing new processes where necessary for the appropriate acquisition and use of outside clinical data Gather and document requirements from internal customers for data needed from outside organizations by working with regional analytic and reporting customers Communicate requirements to the project team and work with the outside organizations to establish the data feeds via the gateway vendor as well as with internal staff to ensure delivery of the data into the appropriate repositories Assist in analysis and resolution of data discrepancies when expected results of report users do not match expectations Establish regular contact with key data user groups to ensure that the data being provided meets their expectations as well as other reporting requirements Develop and maintain an understanding of the data model Work closely with team to ensure they have the information they need about the data to proceed with data transfer implementation; for instance, making sure the engagement manager (liaison to outside organizations) has information about data needs of internal customers, or helping the data modeler understand the data relationships, reasonable values Specific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Health Care Economics, Statistics (with a quantitative emphasis) Masters degree is highly preferred 7+ years of work experience analyzing, modeling and forecasting financial and operational data, including a thorough understanding of financial statement construction and analysis to include 5+ years of experience in consulting, project management Prior health care experience is preferred Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of support processes within an information management organization Ability to work in a highly matrix environment will be a key to success Ability to relate financial information to the broader business Strong financial and statistical analysis highly preferred Excellent communication skills are highly desirable Demonstrable experience in preparing presentations to financial and business leaders including senior management Prior experience in directly working with and supporting senior executives is a plus Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skill in Excel and PowerPoint Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and to effectively work in a fast past environment Strong team player; experience working collaboratively as part of a team
