Our Fort Lauderdale, Florida client has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a PHP Developer. In this role, the PHP Developer will handle specific development tasks as part of an agile software team. This includes working with a variety of technologies (i.e. web front-end, databases, web services, etc.) and standard design patterns to produce quality production code. Specific Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): Experience working with PHP 5.3+, JavaScript, MySQL and Wordpress Object Oriented programming with PHP 5.3+, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and YUI/JQuery PL/SQL and MySQL database experience Experience with the following web technologies: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, MVC Frameworks, CMS (i.e. Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, etc), Linux, and Apache Advanced technical knowledge in applications programming, system design and design patterns Skills in Java, Perl, Shell Script, SQL Server, PostGres, Photoshop, NgineX, Moodle, eLearning Software, and nix distributions
