Our client is currently seeking a Tech Operations Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey. Primary Responsibilities: Work in a mixed environment of Windows 2000/2003/2008 servers, providing support, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a daily basis Configure Active Directory servers, deploying 2003/2008 servers for various projects, based on line of business requirements Participate in daily coordination with project managers regarding new requirements including new site planning and site exits Responsible for meeting project deadlines for new builds on 2003/2008 servers, Active Directory configurations, database troubleshooting, performing various health checks on servers, and confirming server performance accordingly Define new AD Sites, perform modifications and updates for any upcoming new/existing infrastructure Troubleshoot directory level authentication failures, replication issues within the forest, and Windows 2008 cluster issues with SQL clusters Leverage Heavy Enterprise Change Management experience per ITIL Standards to manage change requests in Development and Production environments Ensure all issues are mitigated and service-level agreements are met per clients' business needs and requests Responsible for building VSphere 4 VM's along with troubleshooting access-level issues along with ESX server administration and troubleshooting Troubleshoot DNS, WINS and any name resolution lookup failure issues on the desktop/server side Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field Minimum Experience Required: 6 years of Active Directory engineering experience or related experience Skills Required: Must have hands-on support experience with Windows 2000/2003, 2008 Server Must have support experience on Active Directory, LDAP, and ADLDS Must have knowledge of Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM)/SCOM Must have general server support experience
