The Quality Assurance Analyst needs to be well versed in all aspects of software quality engineering with hands-on experience in creating and maintaining both manual test cases and automated test suites. This position requires highly effective organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Review business requirements and specifications for consistency in quality standards and preparation for testing Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts Execute test cases and/or automation scripts for both functional and regression tests Analyze test results; perform SQL queries for data comparison and validation Record and track issues/defects; follow-through with fix resolution and validation Work closely with the business and development groups from conception to completion of multiple simultaneous projects Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications: 2 or 4 year Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience 3+ years experience in software quality assurance and test engineering 2+ years using test automation tools for functional and load testing Experience in testing web applications, including SaaS framework, web services, and data integration Experience in testing Mortgage, Finance, or Banking systems and applications Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Experience working with geo-located teams (i.e. offshore) Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and debugging skills Exceptional organizational and time management skills A strong professional work ethic and a positive energetic attitude Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) Working knowledge of HP Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Pro (QTP) functional test automation tools Capable of doing database queries and data validation in SQL Server Understand MS Visio business logic diagrams (i.e. flow charts, swim lanes, etc.) Experience with automated load testing tools (i.e. Load Runner) Preferred: Knowledge of MKS Integrity Knowledge of SharePoint Working knowledge of MS Excel features (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
