We are seeking a Creative Director who will work in collaboration with the Executive Creative Director and creative team developing an extensive range of branding solutions—print, digital, video. We need a leader who can produce great creative work while helping guide the creative work of others. Must also be “hands on” to help with actual projects of key accounts. Strong knowledge base of the digital world a must—you will be large part of building that facet of the department. Day-to-day duties include; client-facing calls and meetings, concept development and art direction as needed, assisting art directors and designers in the design and production of all forms of collateral and communications. Requirements: AD, BFA or MFA in graphic design from an accredited design program 8-10 years experience working in creative services• Ideal candidates are positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and can easily switch gears to manage multiple projects A strong focus on both digital and print work in portfolio• Excellent design, typography, and conceptual skills with a thorough understanding of branding Demonstrated proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote. Working knowledge of CS5 including Flash, HTML and Java Script. Highly organized and able to prioritize and work on several projects at the same time Awareness of social media landscape Proven ability to understand target audience requirements and translate them into actions that enhance development of creative approaches and solutions Communicate effectively with clients and teammates both verbally and in writing Responsibilities: Ensures the timely development and execution of plan, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved Lead and support the development of the creative project plan & creative brief Supervises assigned staff of designers, art directors & production/traffic; oversees their execution of all creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, on budget and on schedule Determines staff assignments and roles in special client projects as well as in everyday workflow Recommend and determine with ECD and senior management, staffing and compensation changes Facilitate brainstorming sessions with colleagues to aid in conceptual development and problem solving Consults account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, budgets, necessary reviews, and client presentations Participates in new business efforts Plans and develops work goals and measurements necessary to provide both profitable and quality service to clients In conjunction with Production Manager, monitors internal/external costs as it relates to vendors (freelancers, printers etc). Keeps the account team aware of the use of outside services and materials Reports to Executive Creative Director
