The selected candidate will be a creative self starter capable of executing multiple complex tasks on time with minimal supervision. He/she will have direct contact with end customers. Must be comfortable interfacing with customers and dealing with field support issues in a timely and professional manner. The candidate will work in one or more of the following areas: Database support with Sybase; Communications (both wired and wireless); Security (database, communications, system, etc.); System software development and GUI development. Skills Required: Significant experience with Windows Embedded Standard (WES7) is required. Experience with WES7 Bitlocker and Applocker is a must have. Experience with automated installation and update scripting on WES 7 is required. Experience with XAML and GUI design/ maintenance is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Blend is desirable. Strong .Net, C#, parallel/distributed software system design and development experience is required. Must be familiar with Ethernet network protocols and secure communications. Maintaining/ understanding of database code/design is desirable. Very strong skills in modern software design and development, as well as significant experience in a Microsoft .NET environment, are a must. Experience in security and/or medical device product design and development is desired. Significant experience in both small- and large-scale systems design and integration projects involving database, networking, and security design and development in a distributed environment. Education and Experience: BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent. Must have 5 or more years of commercial software development experience in a Windows environment.
