Legal Assistant
A prominent law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to provide support to attorneys and clients. Qualified candidate should have an understanding of Florida law and law firm background with strong administrative skills. Experience with Disability and Social Security law is helpful. Duties and Responsibilities: ?Interact with clients and attorneys. ?Preparation/revision of correspondence, pleadings and documents ?Maintain calendars, client filing, and all other work related documents and files ?Perform general administrative duties ?Conduct e-filing on state and federal level ?Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment Skills and Educational Requirements: ?High School diploma or equivalent; Legal certification preferred ?Minimum 3 Years of Experience ?Experience in state rules and procedures ?Possess strong verbal and written communication skills ?Detail oriented; well organized; requires minimum supervision ?Strong computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook ?Excellent typing skills (must demonstrate speed and accuracy) We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
