Title : Java Web Application Developer (OO JavaScript) – MVC Architecture Duration : 6+ month contract Location : Marietta, GA Thompson Technologies is seeking a Senior Core Java Web (JavaScript) Web Application Developer for a 6 month+ Engagement here in the Marietta / Kennesaw area. Core Java Development skills and technical abilities that will not be focused around an IDE dependency. Computer Science Degree Highly preferred and structured coding principles are considered important in this role. Design, develop, and enhance Java web based applications to ensure performance / scalability Work collaboratively in a implementing solutions collaboratively using the white board, in an Agile environment with a two week sprint schedule. Java, JSP/JSTL, XML and JavaScript development skills, as well as MVC Architecture, Ant and Core OOA/OOD Principles. Responsibilities include new development, enhancements, maintenance, code reviews and bug fixes Additional skills in Struts, Spring/Hibernate and JQuery a big plus in this role.
