The Business Intelligence Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah is responsible for gathering requirements, design, creation and support of Business Objects universes which support operational and ad-hoc reports. Responsibilities: Perform the business analysis role with the client to document reporting requirements from a Data Warehouse perspective Design a dimensional Star schema data model to support canned reporting and ad-hoc reporting Create and support all data flows from various source systems and load into an integrated data warehouse Build and support an executive dashboard Create and support all elements of a Business Objects universe including dimensions, measures, filters, hierarchies, variables, prompts, etc. Design and maintain universe security via both the dashboard and Business Objects Designer Create reports using both Business Objects Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports Forecast, analyze data and trends and create reports that highlight areas in need of performance improvement Please send your resume to David Wilcox, dwilcox@kforce.com Job Requirements: Expert SQL skills Expert dimensional data modeling skills Extensive professional experience in data analysis and report design/development Expert presentation/interface skills (demonstrated GUI design) Ability to quickly learn new tools and technology Strong problem solving, analytical and diagnostic skills Ability to interact well in a team environment
