Quality Assurance Responsibilities: Drive bugs to the proper resolution Gain clear understanding of documents (FSDs, PRDs, etc.) per project Collaborate with development and PM / Analysts Document identified bugs and set proper priority Provide status reports of test passes and planning activities Write, update, and maintain detailed test cases per specifications Run Black and White box test cases and execute ad hoc testing Run manual and automated test cases Report test results to appropriate audience Follow developed test plans through major software releases The successful Quality Assurance (QA) applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 1-4 years of experience in an IT QA or Development role Understand bug process and/or lifecycles Be familiar with a bug tracking system Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good time management skills Ability to meet schedules on time and with quality Knowledge of SDLC and the QA place within the SDLC Basics SQL skills are highly desirable Knowledge of Black box and White box testing is desired Knowledge of SoapUI (or similar tools) to test APIs and Web Services is a plus Working knowledge of current Web UI standards is a plus Our client is looking for somebody at a junior-level that has some QA experience and also has some technical background to help out on automation build out This Kforce position opportunity is with a client on-site at their Kirkland, Washington Corporation
