Junior Systems Programmer
A growing and exciting marketing company located in Duluth, GA currently has openings for Junior Programmers in their Information Systems and Call Center Services areas. The Junior Programmer position is primarily responsible for the code development, running stored procedures and scripts, report creation and various other tasks in SQL or associated programs utilizing knowledge of SQL code. This may include data sampling based on specific filter criteria, programming and testing scripts, report creation, and query analysis in a Windows SQL environment. The Junior Programmer will be expected to respond effectively and positively to the continuous changes and challenges associated with a fast-paced, professional environment. The position requires basic experience working in SQL databases as well as SQL queries and commands. Experience with data output auditing, review and analysis, Web page design or Scripting is desired but not necessary. The candidate will possess 1-2 year experience in Computer Science or other related field. This position includes the following job duties: Utilize SQL statements to write to and update data tables Utilize SQL statements to review, audit, and check data results Utilize SQL Reporting Services to create and run results reports and custom data extracts Understand and utilize Scripting standards for efficient code development Understand basic web layout and design Assist in project documentation for milestone tracking Responsible for successful project outcome(s), including accurate data collection This position has the following requirements: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Well organized and high level of attention to detail Excellent time and project management skills 1-2 years of experience in Computer Science or other related field Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with SQL
