Desktop Publishing Word or PowerPoint Specialist (Editor, Writer)
We are working with our client in identifying a PowerPoint Specialist. The Quality Assurance group is chartered with ensuring the quality of the Certified Training courses sold by Client and its resellers. Each course goes through an editing and production cycle. This position is responsible for ensuring that the PowerPoint slides follow Client branding style guides. All PPT files use an existing template. In this role you will be responsible for following a set of instructions and guidelines to fix, clean-up and standardize the slides according to specified Client branding requirements and best practices. The work prepares the files for print and presentation in Certification courses. The deliverable is PowerPoint. Requirements: Junior to mid level experience PowerPoint 2010, Internet access experience with PPT, including using templates, themes, removing or adding builds, formatting, line weights, fonts, etc Must have high level of attention to detail and can work independently Nice to have: Adobe Illustrator MS Word skills (can do either PowerPoint or word template production) Specific software, technical platform experience or knowledge. In this role you will work with templates, headers, footers, styles, bullet lists, tables, pagination, and generate a Table of Contents. You must also be able to use the "link and lock" feature of Word to link the PPT files into the corresponding Word documents. You will also be responsible for following a set of instructions and guidelines to fix, clean-up and standardize the Word files according to specified Client branding requirements and best practices. The work prepares the files for print in Certification courses. The Deliverables are MS Word and PDF files. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approximately a year.
