We are currently sourcing for a contract opportunity in support of our client, a major Technology and Consulting client. Responsibilities: Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives. Drives the forecasting process by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the organization’s financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls. Specialist: Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification preferred. Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.Intermediate to thorough level of knowledge of tactical Accounting/financial analysis.
