Engineering Support - Engineering change process

Client is looking for an Engineering Support - Engineering change process for an estimated 24 months assignment in Peoria, IL area. This customer support role will spend the majority of their time answering questions from the corporation via phone and e-mail. Summary: Support Technologist assigned to the Engineering Data System (EDS) / Product Release Workbench (PRWB), Engineering Data Support. The primary responsibilities are to provide customer services including resolving data problems, answering questions, providing guidance for handling engineering conditions in EDS/PRWB, developing and maintaining user procedures, training users on how to use EDS/PRWB and participating in testing modifications to EDS/PRWB software. The duties also include first line support for the Engineering Data Notification System (EDNS) and Random Access Storage Architecture (RASTAR). Requirements: Education/Experience: 3-6 years experience in Engineering Data System (EDS). Skills and Competencies: Strong communications, initiative, and analytical skills. A good understanding of the engineering change process. A relevant degree, certification, or equivalent experience. Must be knowledgeable of the latest engineering standards.
