Our Technology Practices Financial Services Delivery Team is currently interviewing Senior Systems Administrators. Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of servers, network appliances, and peripheral devices both on a hardware and OS/software level. Maintains data files, network shares, and administers AD account information. Ensures servers, networking, and storage area are all running within defined SLA uptimes. Supports end users on Tier 2/3 helpdesk issues Administers Active Directory, Exchange email, Blackberry, and VPN accounts for end users Performs and monitors backup operations Performs updates/patching on all OS and applications Administers VMware ESX environment ensuring all hosts are operating nominally and fully patched to the accepted level Performs server builds, rollouts, and decommissioning Responsible for server/network operations in remote offices, along with end user helpdesk support Qualifications: Microsoft server technologies operating within an Active Directory Forest Basic networking skills (TCP/IP, IP, v4, CIDR) Blackberry Enterprise Server Administration VMware vSphere Desktop operating systems (Windows XP/7, Linux, Mac OS) Hardware skills – server, networking, desktop, mobile devices College degree in Computer Science or equivalent A+ or equivalent hardware knowledge MCITP certification in Windows 2008 or equivalent experience Must be a team player, good sense of humor is helpful!
