We want to make a better version of what is currently online as Anaface.com The current application is done in Flash and requires manual selection of face points. We want to do a major update migrating this instead to HTML5 or HTML+JS. Also if possible, we want to automatically select the points if possible. The general process should be as follows: 1) User checks box agreeing to a set of terms and conditions (which are taken from an external XML file) 2) User selects "male" or "female" from radio box 4) User can enter face photo through one of 4 or 5 means: a) using shown default photo (which is specified in XML file) b) uploading a photo c) specifying a URL d) choosing from a gallery of photos (whose image url's are specified in external XML file). e) (optional) if you are able to easily add option for webcam capture, that would be a nice bonus 3) If possible, we would like to use a face recognition SDK and automatically select all of the points. If you are able to successfully do this using Luxand or another Face SDK, then this would be ideal. 3(a) Alternatively, if automatic point selection is not possible or not within you capabilities, then gather the 17 points through manual entry as shown in the existing app 4) Data points are then submitted via POST to an external page. This page processes these points and returns a score and list of short sentences of "what is good/bad" about the face. We will supply the algorithm here and do analysis of the points. You just need to handle the request/response. 5) User is forced to enter e-mail address to see the results (which you can maybe gray over or mask behind this popup/gate so that people want to get to that next step OR Alternatively this could be a "like gate" instead where they are forced to like the page before continuing. 6) Results are presented and then the user has option to either: a) Try again b) Post picture(s) to Facebook with a referring link back to the site as well in the post c) E-mail Result to themselves or a friend d) Post photo and results to public gallery e) Visit another web page (whose link and link text can be specified in external XML file) 6) Prefer if this can be done AJAX-style (i.e. avoid paging and complete screen refreshes if possible) 7) Would prefer this to be HTML5 or straight HTML+JS ideally. 8) Design should be attractive and user interface should be very intuitive. 9) Although we believe the above is the ideal user experience, we are also open to creativity of making this better than we envisioned (i.e. we will not stifle your creativity and design if you have other ideas) Based on the quality of work done for this application, we have several similar ones that we can hire for immediately afterward. Ideally the candidate will also have some mobile experience as we may follow-up with applications for Android and iPhone/iPad. Please specify which technology stack you intend to use for the backend and for the user interface. We will also consider hiring more than one person for this as well (i.e. we may be happy to get more than one solution for this), so please send your best proposals.
