Explanation for Position: Candidate will join the DPS (Dispatch Planning System) development team tointegrate DPS into the ORION system. The Dispatch Planning System provides theCompany center team the ability to create daily dispatch plans for service providers'routes. Details of Position: Candidates should be versed in use of development related tools/IS/industrystandards, be able to analyze technical requirements, and create system designs andspecifications. Programs and debugs complex projects. Ability to effectively analyzetechnical options define ramifications of choices. The candidate will have strongwritten and oral communication skills. They will be able to effectively communicate team status to management as well as understand project management conceptssuch as earned value, risk analysis, estimating and schedule monitoring. Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/related discipline or the equivalent ineducation and work experience. 3-5 years in programming, systemsarchitecture methodologies, systems analysis. Works independently on short andlong term project deliverables. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as actively within a team. Must be self-motivated, dependable, proactive, organized, communicate clearly bothorally and written, possess expert C# proficiency, .Net WIN Form, SQL 2008 andWindows desktop application development. Candidate will be expected to develop C#desktop applications using VC2010.
