As the Mobile Application Certification Lead in Pleasanton, California, your main responsibilities include: Leading app certification projects Working on process improvement initiatives Leading ad hoc projects including those requiring analysis of IT vendor capabilities, trends, etc. Participating in scrum team activities (stand-up meetings, entering activities) Maintaining activity status and reporting (spreadsheets, SharePoint knowledge base archives, etc.) Responsibilities also include: Contributes in areas of program planning, business requirements gathering, project execution and program coordination Prepares needs assessments Validates requirements and develops cost and resource estimate models Conducts and coordinates product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making Contributes tactically to product and market-related research studies and assessments in support of strategic planning and specific initiatives, as required, and presents findings of studies to client committees Provides consultative, technical, and staff support, as appropriate This project is the management of mobile application certification projects, assistance with configuration of a PPM solution (project and portfolio management), management of ad-hoc projects as they arise, and assist with overall department process improvement/automation and scaling initiative. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Excellent analytical skills Very strong verbal/written skills Demonstrable experience in project management across technical and non-technical cross-functional teams Business process improvement experience Advanced Excel skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques Experience in the healthcare vertical and knowledge of mobile devices and application development, including agile scrum development practices, is desirable BA or BS degree Minimum of 3+ years of direct relevant experience Project management experience Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (reporting/tracking spreadsheets, consulting deliverables) Familiarity and/or experience in software development and/or mobile app development Results-oriented person who takes initiative Thorough and detail-oriented person who enjoys critical thinking exercises Flexible and personable demeanor PPM certification is desirable Six Sigma or other process improvement certification is desirable
