Be responsible for the development of Business Objects 4.0, SAP BW, BEx Analyzer, APD, and Oracle and SQL data source reports using BO 4.0 in a data federated model. Conduct systems programming and systems support activities such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines, report generators, etc. Monitor effective language codes, processing routines, hardware utilization, and utilization of database management techniques. Develop and review operator and control instructions. Prepare and conduct system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software. Conduct programming tasks including program design, program coding, debugging, and documentation. As directed, prepare feasibility studies and design tests to determine operating characteristics of software. The successful Systems Programmer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): This position may require requirements gathering with our internal customer and related documentation A 4-year Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience in specified systems programming Specialized knowledge of the analysis, installation, modification, and support of specified operating systems, databases, and utilities Specific Skills: Business Objects 4.0 SAP BW BEx Analyzer SAP APD SQL Oracle A much needed 'can do' attitude with the ability to discern benefits versus effort Strong people interaction and communication skills
