Senior Video Producer - Studio Manager Boston, MA Keys to the Position: This is a Player/Coach role - They will be spending 40% of their time with video production and 60% leading and directing the process and team - they will be leading a team of 2. MUST HAVE CORPORATE VIDEO EXPERIENCE Must be strong with Avid - Manager does not want to train the person on Avid. Must have demonstrated experience with Avid editing, graphic design, 2D/3D compositing and visual effects, and streaming media formats. Experience with video and audio compression software required. Fluent in a variety of digital video products and formats for webcasting, video streaming and on site playback; Must possess excellent scriptwriting and grammar skills. Ability to efficiently organize work, work calmly under pressure, and be flexible to changing needs of video production. The ability to set priorities, make decisions, and readily adjust to change. Minimum Requirements: Job Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Film/Television or related field required, along with five – ten years of experience in video and audio production. Experience in shooting and doing post-production work for video segments. Experience with live web streaming. Experience creating video suitable for the web and multiple devices (Computer, iPad, DVD, etc.). Proven ability to interact professionally and diplomatically. Understanding of customer service principles. Ability to work with tight deadlines and produce accurate and high quality work. Demonstrated ability to work with a team of creative professionals and oversee the details of a multi-faceted staff group. Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description: Senior Video Producer/Studio Manager. Oversee preproduction, production and post-production of projects including managing projects of other video producers. Producer will be responsible for planning/shooting/editing their own projects as well as managing all requests for production work, Collaborates with the creative design team to create engaging animations and graphics for use in videos and large event spaces; ensures that these visual elements standards are being maintained across video production portfolio. Coordinates video production process to effectively manage workflow; provides project direction for shooting, editing and final format, including planning and management of project timelines; monitors and provides recommendations for improvement of video production process Maintain a schedule of productions to complete and regularly communicate progress with business partners and Media Services team Plans, facilitates, and operates studio and field-based video production including camera operation, editing, set and lighting design and audio production. Collaborates in the creative design and media production process including proposing unique creative concepts for future projects. Prepare production notes and scripts and story boards; coordinate casting and scheduling. Organize video (data) assets to be easily shared and maintained by others. Responsible for the proper use, storage maintenance and upgrading of all editing, camera, lighting, grip and sound equipment Plans, writes and produces scripts; executes professional videos to communicate educational, inspiring and engaging client and internal communication needs Researches, identifies and consults on the use of external resources (e.g. video production agency, freelancers, talent, etc.). Provides support for internal and offsite client events. Performs all other duties as assigned.
