Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 08/26/12 – 11/30/12 Job Description: Responsible for provisioning Data/Voice Circuits Submit order information to Telco/Vendor Monitor/Track Delivery Performance and manage installation with internal staff Provide vendor and internal staff escalation support in order to meet and obtain required delivery/FOC dates. Coordinate and Manage test and turn, hot cuts of circuit activation and equipment testing to meet/complete Technology’s design. Coordinate tasks between internal and external (Telco) technical resources to complete simple and complex service requests related to projects, remote testing activities with field operations, vendors, project manager, and site GM. Conduct periodic project audits/follow-up to ensure unused resources are terminated to avoid wasteful spend. Assist Finance Team with validating invoices, identifying terminated services that should no longer be billed and assist with invoice problem resolution pertaining to circuit orders. Provide weekly status reports showing request status, service types, intervals for completing work orders and equipment/circuit inventory. Engages internal departments to identify process, system and implementation issues; to establish common understanding and solutions. Submit/Plan/Schedule Change (RFC) for proper level of internal approvals for transmission of all Voice network (production) implementation/service affecting outages/critical changes to comply with company’s current Change policy.
