Position: Web Application Developer - JavaScript, AJax, jQuery, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Java, Unix/Windows, Oracle and SQL Pay Rate range: $65/h on W-2 Preference: GCs, Citizens Start date: asap (we can consider some one with two weeks notice option as well) Duration: through end of Dec'12 (with possible ext) Work location: San Francisco Interview process: Phone to in-person interview, followed by background check References: required Our client is for a Web Application Developer position on the Enterprise Identity Management Project. Role: Responsibilities include user interface design and development, mid tier and back end development. Member of a Agile software development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that will be venturing into new technology/platform at the Fed. Qualifications: 3+ years experience in web application development and support Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills Experience with Window, UNIX, Apache, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, Spring, Hibernate and recent front-end experience with Java Script and Ajax Relational database skills including SQL, Oracle Familiarity with workflow concepts Experience in analysis, design, coding and testing of new procedures and modifications to existing systems Experience with implementing, customizing, and integrating vendor software Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to conceptualize technical solutions to implement business requirements Ability to work in an Agile software development environment Adherence to application development life cycle procedures and standards is required Experience with source code management and change control Solid understanding of unit, integration, system and acceptance testing concepts, tools and best practices Professional Skills Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university OR equivalent training and experience Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees and leaders internally and externally to the organization Ability to work cohesively with team and staff in other Districts; and, effectively manage multiple concurrent requests Flexibility in accepting and independently delivering a variety of assignments with high quality solutions Demonstrated ability to assist users in defining requirements; to learn new concepts and technical unctions quickly; and, to produce clear and accurate documentation Preferred Skills: Experience with: Groovy and JBOSS Identity Management concepts and technologies Working knowledge of products such as the BMC, Sun, and Oracle Identity Management suites Please submit resumes to gkrishna@us-buxton.com
