Senior PHP Contract Developer 3 month initial contract role with a small startup company Atlanta, GA The client is looking for a 5 to 7 year Software Engineer with experience in PHP and someone who is comfortable as a Technical lead. This is going to be a mix of Development and Systems Admin work. Basically they run on a Legacy platform essentially Magenta built on top of Zend (ECommerce exp). Most of day will be spent working with this which is hosted in a traditional Co-Local facility. Person will maintain system, monitor, update and fix. Need someone self-sufficient who can come in and get the job done with little hand holding. Below is a description written from one of the developers there. Technology built using open source software including OOP PHP, Symfony2, Zend Framework, Apache, Memcached, MySQL, HTML5, Javascript (jQuery), Backbone.js, and CSS3. Built custom administrative panel and API which allows non-technical parties ability to create, edit, and report data for merchants. Maintain Legacy website which uses Magento. Integration with 3rd party services including Authorize.NET for secure payments, Responses for automated email marketing, Amazon S3/Cloudfront for static content, and a mix of Amazon, Peak10, and Softlayer for hosting.
