Digital Project Manager - 3 Months Contract - Manchester (North West) Our client is looking to directly recruit a Project Manager to manage the end to end life cycle of key strategic digital projects and or programmes, from initiation through to implementation and closure. Demonstrating and setting the standard in terms of best practice project management processes and controls.This role requires a PM with sound IS digital knowledge to aid in the delivery of projects into multiple businesses. The successful candidate will also have a strong background of PM methodology and experience in working on and delivering digital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for using best practice project management processes and outputs. Critical skills and experience required: · Experience managing strategic digital projects. · Managing 3rd party vendors. · Successfully managed the external customer during the development and delivery of software development projects. · Successfully delivered at least 3 concurrent digital projects. · A track record of successfully managing, difficult and demanding customers. · A proven track record of delivering projects using a combination of in-house and external teams. · Experience of delivering IT (functional) projects into the business. · Extensive experience managing multiple projects with a track record of successfully delivering multiple projects, on time, to cost and quality. · *** A solid background in digital projects is essential *** This role would suite someone who likes to structured and organised and helps influence those around them to be likewise, likes to have several plates spinning, but focuses on the hot spots, likes to directly and indirectly use skills to influence an outcome and move the project forward, likes to solve problems and move forward, not a procrastinator, likes pace and to get to the end, enjoys project management as a career, strives for success and is motivated and takes deep satisfaction in delivering a project through to fruition.
