Title: Middleware Jboss Admin Location: Pittsburgh, PA Exp: 6-8 Year Duration: Long Term Start Date: Immediate Job Description: This position requires a talented engineer that must have a solid understanding of Web Application Servers. The engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing support and administration of the enterprises web applications. The candidate selected must have some experience in a UNIX/LINUX environment with some or all of the following application servers: LAMP Stack, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss Application Server. The candidate also must be able to solve problems related to performance and other configuration related problems. A solid understanding of the different load balancing techniques is also needed. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 1. Install, configure and manage WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, LAMP Stack, and other web-oriented applications as necessary. 2. Experience with clustering and load balancing of application servers. 3. Experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, and PHP Web Application administration and deployment. 4. Solid knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) and/or Linux(Redhat) – performance, scripting (Bash, Perl, and ant) 5. Experience with MySQL, LDAP, and Oracle. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical counterparts. Detail oriented. Strong project/time management skills. 7. Solid understanding of additional components - Windows, databases, networking, etc. 8. Experience with F5 LTM Load Balancer is defnite plus.
