Must have 9-10 years experience in programming within SQL Server and at least 4 years in SQL Server 2008. Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Expertise in writing complex database queries using stored functions, stored procedures passing table parameters and returning vast data sets. Write complex SQL queries using outer joins, recursive joins, inline queries, sub-queries, Automate data import/export via bcp and other SQL Server utilities. Import/Export data from tables using queries to csv files via scripts and automation. Ability to both write good T-SQL code, and assist developers in tuning theirs. Understand the difference between T-SQL that just returns the results asked for and good T-SQL. Understanding of various SQL Server features such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, XML, Service Broker, Full-Text, etc. and how they are used. Expertise in one or more is required. This is not a DBA position.
