Mechanical, Metal, SMW, Fabricator, Fabrication, Plater, Cutting, Burning, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Welding, MIG, TIG.   Duration: Temp initially. Temp-to-Perm for the right person.   Rate: £10ph - £15ph (depending on experience)   Our client, a supplier of mechanical design, fabrication and installation services, is looking to hire an experienced Plater / Fabricator / Welder to work within their busy workshop in Bedford.   The role requires the aforementioned person to do their own:-   ·         Marking out & Bending Allowance ·         Cutting ·         Burning ·         Work to drawing tolerances of  +/- 1mm ·         Fabricate in Mild steel and Stainless steel ·         Conversant with MIG & TIG process ·         Be able to read and understand 1st Angle and 3rd Angle projection drawings   The immediate project is for the fabrication of Process Tanks which are 6m long x 2.0m wide x 2.5m high in 5mm and 8mm thick stainless steel plate.
