Client/Server Programmer Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's client/server software applications. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience Our area is responsible for Web-Tier (application routing, AAA, application delivery features, federation, web-services), Application middleware (J2EE platforms, caching, Messaging) and DB tier. Our goal is to drive what is today done in the application logic in multiple different applications to this middleware tier so that it follows the paradigm of "done once shared by all". The person we are looking for has to have the capacity to play a broad role in our team. In this capacity, we expect the individual to work with our application teams, understand the implementation/code and see how meaningful functionality will be moved to the middleware layers. We are also in the process of building out some common services (such as routing) that will become common components for all applications and we expect the individual to be able to architect and implement such components.
