This role is responsible for data collection and management of multiple large data sets from diverse resources and performing statistical analysis on predictive models and data trending. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of statistics, research and compare data against industry data, develop theories and concepts, identify resources and data sources, analyze and evaluate models to influence decision-making and organization operations support. Major Tasks Creates models, monitors results, and produces reports on a monthly basis Logically integrates information from multiple resources and effectively communicates results to department management Projects or forecasts future trends based on evaluation needs and requirements provided. Collaborates to implement projects, complete tasks, and fulfill plans to ensure timely and efficient analysis, modeling, evaluation and reporting Develops ad hoc analyses using standard and advanced statistical techniques Performs statistical data analysis and manages a large number of predictive models Identifies performance issues relative to budgets, forecasts and business models Creates tests, distributes and tracks financial models and reports Evaluates current processes and recommends new practices, procedures, and systems to improve operating efficiency and internal controls. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience required in related field i.e., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology 3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above). Experience in budget/forecast development, track actuals and develop variances report, business process requirements development. Extensive knowledge of statistics, data mining, and predictive modeling Experience working with large data sets Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, business process design and tools. Proficient in Excel and/or other Databases Creativity to develop innovative analytical solutions Experience in Cable or any telecommunications industry is a plus. Grasps professional principles and skills Knows and effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data
