My client is a global food manufacturing organisation with a number of sites within the UK. This role is working at their site in Hyde that manufacture branded and own label products to major retailers. They are now currently recruiting for a Contract Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their large manufacturing facility in Hyde. This is fantastic opportunity for the right candidate who has previous experience within a similar role and environment, within the FMCG sector. Multi-skilled Engineer Role � To work as part of an integrated manufacturing team as a Maintenance Engineer. � Carry out maintenance to a high standard; be diligent and proactive in approach to reducing plant downtime due to machine failure / inefficiency. � React to plant failures, proactively look for the root cause of the failure and take recommended actions to prevent re-occurrence of failure. � To comply with all the relevant Health & Safety Legislation and Site Standards. � Comply with all company ISO, SAP & HACCP procedures. � Achieve pre-set targets of quantity, quality and waste utilising all available production facilities. Multi-skilled Engineer - Ideal Candidate � You will ideally have experience of working within a food manufacturing organisation. � Recognised industry standard qualifications / apprenticeship (electrical biased). � Panel fault finding skills to include diagnosing and rectifying faults on motors / powers / control circuits and panel safety / stop circuits. � Experience of working in a high speed / high volume manufacturing environment working as part of an engineering team.
