Senior Systems Development Specialist - Siebel Austin, TX 6 month contract Start Date: ASAP Job Description: You will be working as a part of a Global team on a high-end and extremely complex Siebel 7.8 - 8.x Implementations and enhancements. This is an ongoing Siebel EAI Implementation for a government financial services organization. Most of the Interfaces interact with Siebel through Web Services. The candidate must be comfortable with complex Business Processing within Siebel Application. The Siebel Administrator position involves directly supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of the Siebel environment. Coordinate Siebel environments, including readiness for test and stage environments. Work with developers and development leads to ensure that the manifest files are updated for each scope item, and work with the appropriate teams to ensure that the work is done. Check that all infrastructures are in place and that the environment connectivity is completed. Perform code migrations and other infrastructure activities. Troubleshoot environment issues and provide operational support. Experience preferred Siebel 7 Certification Preferred Creation of Siebel Schema, applying SQLs on Database Experience with version 7.8 or higher for Siebel CRM, Siebel Call Center Investigation of Siebel Core crashes and identifying the root cause for crashes Administration and Maintenance of Siebel Enterprise along with application software Experience working with Workflow Manager, Assignment Manager Troubleshooting of Siebel application problems related to Siebel environments Application performance monitoring and troubleshooting application issues Providing support to user in order to resolve system and application related issues, support to development, Staging and Production Deployment activities - Repository Export / Import, SRF Compilation, Schema Changes, Seed Data transfer, replacement, generate browser scripts, transfer Mid tier files, Database Activities -User creation, cold/hot backup, Database instance creation, DB refresh Experience working with Oracle 10g or higher, MS SQL Server and Windows environment Experience with OBIEE (Siebel Analytics), Actuate, ETL (Informatica) and Analytics Report development are pluses Solid experience with Siebel Tools configuration a plus Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Solid experience with IIS installation and configuration Solid experience with Windows 2003 or higher Solid experience with Installation and configuration of 7.8 or higher Experience working in with Unix/Linux command line At least 3 years experience in Hands on experience in Siebel 7.x or higher At least 3 years experience in Rational At least 3 years experience in Unix/Linux At least 3 years experience in System and Siebel Administration Education and Experience Required High School Diploma/GED Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required 3+ years experience in Siebel Administration 3+ years experience in Siebel Workflow 3+ years experience in Assignment Manager 3+ years experience in Siebel Data Model 3+ years experience in Siebel Architecture 3+ years experience in UI 3+ years experience in Business Objects 3+ years experience in Database layer
