Our client in the Akron area has multiple openings for a .Net Developer to come and assist with current project load on a 3-4 month contract to hire engagement. Skill sets required: 5+ yrs .Net Development (C#, ASP.Net) 5+ yrs SQL database Development 1-2+yrs Java (nice to have) Javascript Formal Job Description: Evaluate, design and modify existing or proposed client server systems to structure, access and maintain complex databases. Analyze database requirements of the user department, applications programming and operations. -Test program code, analyze source and content of data. -Knowledge of client-server and relational database concepts, SQL, Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office Developer Tools, Novell operating systems, Visual Studio .Net and the following programming languages: Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and VB Script. (C# and JavaScript Required) -Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Lotus SmartSuite. -Skilled in debugging programs and performing data and system analysis. -Must be able to complete assigned projects and programs within set deadlines; communicate effectively; establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and contractors; exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions; follow verbal and written instructions. Education: -Bachelor’s/Associate degree in computer science, computer programming, data processing or a closely related field and five plus years experience in client-server computer programming and analysis or the equivalent.
