Would you like to spend 13 weeks in an internship in Seville, Spain? (Travel, accommodation and more all paid for) The Skills for Green Jobs Project, is an EU funded scheme, placing graduates in environmental business and organisations in Andalucia, Spain. It is run by Red Ochre and Third Sector International (TSI) and we work closely with organisations in Seville. These exciting opportunities are designed to enable participants to develop their technical and practical knowledge and understanding of the environmental sector, as well as increasing their skills and confidence within a work environment. Preparation After your place has been confirmed, you will receive up to two days training and briefing in London (expenses covered) where we will give you more information about your placement, customs and culture, language training and about Seville itself. During your placement: - You will stay in a (three or four person) flat share with other interns in the heart of Seville. - You will have your accommodation (including internet and bills), flights and travel to and from Spain, and travel insurance paid for. You will also receive a total of €500 towards travel and food. - You will be supported during your placement by an English speaking mentor as well as project tstaff. - You will have access to regular Spanish language classes and training. Who are we looking for? We are interested in receiving applications from graduates and others with: - Spanish language skills (can be basic though) Interest in the environment and sustainability / culture / international business Applicants who are motivated to enjoy and contribute to their experience abroad. The current round of placements runs from September 23rd to December 22nd so you will need to be available then. The preparation will take place in London on September 10th and 11th. HOW DO I APPLY?
