Technical Support Engineer
We are looking for a talented technical support engineer for a 12 to 24 months contract position, this person will provide Tier 1/2 level technical support, which includes managing/closing Customer Service Requests (CSRs),opening and processing Return Material Authorization (RMAs) request, Identify customer product problems and develop/implement procedures to improve/correct trouble, troubleshoot company’s product hardware, firmware, and software to resolve customer problems, provide advanced SS7 and/or TCP/IP network troubleshooting assistance for customers, become subject matter expert and disseminate that expertise to Technical Support and Customer Service personnel. The qualified candidate must have: experience in technical support or a minimum of 4-6 years experience in technical support. must have excellent problem solving/analytical skills. strong oral/written communications skills required. knowledge of SS7 Protocols including MTP, SCCP, GSM, GPRS, and TCAP. familiarization with Oracle/MySQL, TCP/IP, VOIP and various routing protocols. must have strong LINUX/UNIX and Windows knowledge. must be able to perform in critical situations ability to work with others, effective use of verbal and written communications
