Our client in the Greenville, SC area is looking for a hands-on Interactive Art Director who can push the limits of design, think outside the box, and has a solid understanding of user experience (UX) and (UI).   Reporting to the Interactive Creative Director, the Interactive Art Director will help create and design engaging interactive sites, brand experiences and other digital media. The ideal candidate should have online conceptual and production experience, along with a strong working knowledge of web design, and a strong creative portfolio. You should be able to think strategically and articulate creative solutions from a business point of view for consumer facing websites.  Great design skills, working well with UX, and being able to speak the language of developers is also very important.  Candidate should have an expertise in rich media banners, micro-sites and website design. Candidate must be detail oriented and w illing to chip in on anything needed, from production to conceptual ideas. Team players only, please. Must haves: ·          BFA, graphics or visual communications ·          Strong design experience and a great eye ·          4+ years’ experience with online advertising, websites, micro sites ·          Design experience in Business-to-Consumer environment ·          Expertise with major design apps including Flash CS5, inDesign CS5, PhotoShop CS5, Illustrator CS5, HTML, JavaScript ·          Deep knowledge of digital tools, trends, and styles ·          Strong understanding of web-based standards used to create interactive experiences ·          Visual Design Experience within a Web Content Management System ·          Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work in a collaborative team environment ·          Experience leading a team of designers and production artists ·          Comprehensive knowledge of design software ·          Online portfolio packed with outstanding design, motion, and technical expertise in all things digital; websites, online advertising ·          Can-do attitude and positive work ethic ·          Ability to collaborate closely with creative and account management teams, and effectively present work ·          Experience designing against business and digital requirements, and the ability to address and advocate for a strong user experience ·          Ability to meet deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects ·          Ability to produce quality solutions independently   Who is MarketPro: MarketPro is the leading interim marketing executive and marketing executive search firm in the USA.
