I run a video production company. We used to create SMIL presentations for our clients, but with HTML5 it seems the way to go is to use HTML5 so that the presentations are viable on all platforms. I need a programmer who can write what seems to be fairly easy code or that's what i'm gathering from a few google searches. the programming needs to be robust and it needs to look good. Job Description: In case you're not familiar SMIL was Simultaneous Multimedia Integrated Language which was used to play slides timed to a video window. I would like to add more functionality with a text script being read, potential to add different languages so that the text script can be in French or Italian, etc. Slides should be either traditional jpeg or possibly pdfs. here's a link to a company that makes a similar type product: / Look at the Alcatel-Lucent presentation as it comes very close to what we're looking to do. Knowledge of Java probably a good idea as well. I believe they use java script to take the timing from the video, but not sure exactly how the magic is performed. Desired Skills: HTML5 Keywords: Other - Multimedia Services, HTML5
