The Role of the Sales Rep What’s this job all about? As one of our Sales Reps, you’ll join the team in store. You’ll work alongside our top salespeople and help them knock out those sales and service targets at our busiest times. What will I do? Greet and welcome customers to the store Figure out what they need and introduce them to an experienced member of the team Process orders online, on the phone or through the till Sell our simplest mobile products, accessories and airtime Demonstrate our products and services Keep the store clean, tidy and looking good and make sure key stock is available on the sales floor Deal with simple customer questions and direct them to another team member if you need to Answer the phone and arrange for return calls from an experienced member of the team Deal with store administration Hand out Virgin Media flyers on the high street There’ll be lots of other opportunities to pitch in and help out, depending on what we need to do, so you’ll have a chance to try your hand at plenty of other stuff! What do I need? To be a brilliant communicator who can gain trust and build a rapport with customers quickly Experience in a sales or target driven environment. Experience in a customer-facing environment would be great, but it’s not essential To be motivated and passionate The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, while focusing on targets and giving the very best customer experience To be flexible, able to work under pressure and a team player To be comfortable with computers and be able to use our online tools Educated to at least GCSE standard
