I prefer a candidate who has a passion for the marketing/publicity/business side of entertainment (not the artistic side). Need a professional who can take various creative projects/endeavors and run with them by helping to promote them in a way that makes money. My primary goal is to secure a book deal with known publishing house or increase independent bulk book sales, obtain paid speaking engagements (keynote/guest lecturer) or secure advertising/sponsors/grants. The secondary goal is to gain publicity in radio, print, local and national news programs on cable or TV networks. I am the author of an entertainment industry self-published book and I run an entertainment non-profit organization that has various components, including live events, a print magazine and a new film festival. In addition, my entertainment for-profit company, I cast feature films along with other indie projects; I also write/edit and speak at various events. I am currently producing a film that goes into production this October, and I have various active projects at any given time throughout the year. I am looking to work with someone for about 1-3 months on a commission basis and then after that trial period if results are happening, rate would be $20/hr plus commission and free full page magazine ad.
